Rebecca Wilson started archery at the age of 7 and shot her first competition aged 10, which she won.
Currently aged 14 she is the leading junior girl archer in Essex and is ranked 8th in the National Junior Rankings (under 18) and 4th in her age group (under 16).
Rebecca has been a member of the Essex County and Southern Counties Regional teams. She has won an individual gold medal at the last 3 London Youth Games.
She shoots at least twice a week with local clubs for practice and competes nearly every weekend all over the country. When not shooting at a club or competitively, she practices on her home target or swims to maintain her overall fitness.
Her ambition for this year is to be selected for the England Junior squad and to shoot for her country in the annual Home Nations Tournament. Her ultimate ambition is to represent Great Britain in the Olympic Games.
