2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games

Talented athletes of Barking and Dagenham

Kike Oniwinde - Athletics Javelin

Kike is only 15 years old and started throwing at the age of 13 as a first year U15, which she only achieved 30.57m and ranked 21st in the UK.

As a second year U15 Kike went on to win many titles such as Essex Champion 2006 and 2007, Essex Schools champion 2007, English Schools Champion 2007, Amateur Athletic Association of England's champion 2007 and was ranked 4th furthest throw ever for an U15.

Kike works hard at winter training so that she can be the best and hopefully represent Great Britain in London 2012 Olympics game. This year she is hoping to get her first GB kit and be ranked in the top 5 in her first year at U17.
