The Council wishes to advise residents of the latest position with regards to the impact of the current Local Government Strike Action.
Barking and Dagenham Council overall has had minimal disruption to it's services and has been able to provide a higher level of service delivery than most London Authorities.
However, Northbury Infants School and Barking Abbey School are closed on 16 and 17 July 2008 due to the industrial action.
Sydney Russell Comprehensive and Warren Comprehensive are partially open for staff only.
Although the impact of this cannot be underestimated the Council has continued to maintain extremely high levels of Service in comparison to other Local Authorities.
