The 101 number is a confidential line that is available 24 hours, 7 days a week giving you direct access to advice, information and action for community safety, certain non-emergency crime and antisocial behaviour issues.
101 provides a service for reporting:
Calls can be made from your land line or mobile and will be charged at a fixed rate of 10p per call, whether from land lines or mobiles.
You will speak with one of our highly trained 101 advisers, who will deal with your enquiries.
When you report a problem that requires action, the 101 adviser will take the details of the issue from you. They will give you a reference number and tell you when you can expect the issue to be resolved. The adviser will give the information you have provided to the appropriate service to deal with your request.
This service is operating as a pilot from March until March 2009 in the London Boroughs of Waltham Forest and Barking and Dagenham.
For more information visit the Welcome to 101 website.
