Barking Town Hall was designed in the 1930s but not built until the 1950s, the lower part of the building retains a strong 30s influence. Despite a regular arrangement of windows in the Georgian style, the imposing clock tower has unexpectedly Baroque tendencies.
Architect: Herbert Jackson and Reginald Edmonds.
