Barking Learning Centre is the first stage by Allford Hall Monaghan Morris Architects in the master planning for Barking Town Centre. The centre opens out onto a new public realm by Muf Architects. Sustainable features include a green roof which provides a shared private garden between the blocks, natural ventilation with nighttime cooling, residential building with solar thermal panels.
