Celebrating Eastbrookend Country Park, past, present and future.
2008 sees the 4th Annual Eastbrookend Country Fair and this year it promises to be bigger, better and more fun than ever before!
Starting at 10am and finishing at 4pm, the fair will have something for all the family set in the beautiful countryside of Eastbrookend Country Park.
The day will include:
- Aerial birds of prey display
- Free angling coaching with the Environment Agency
- Traditional country crafts and demonstrations
- A variety of children's environmental activities and games
- Refreshment stands and much, much more!
- 5 Mile Race and 3K Fun Run
There will also be a host of other stalls and displays to visit with things both yummy and beautiful to buy. Environmental organisations will provide advice and information about local attractions and places to visit.
If you have been before then you will know how good it is and want to see what's new. For those who have not, why not come along and see what you have been missing!
Car parking for the event will be at the Sanofi Aventis car park off of Dagenham Road and for those registered disabled car parking will be provided at The Millennium Centre car park.
Eastbrookend Country Park is managed by the Parks and Countryside Ranger Service who also organise over 100 public events per year in parks throughout the borough for all ages from under 6s to the over 60s.
