The Road to Learning 2008
St Teresa Catholic Primary School
Admission criteria and procedure
St Teresa School is a single-form entry school with an intake each September of 28 4 year old children. There is always more demand than places available (oversubscribed).

Important notes
- You must provide proof of baptism into the Catholic Church for categories 1-12 when you apply
- A 'practising Catholic' is someone who follows Catholic values and who goes to Mass every Sunday and Holy Day. This would normally involve supporting parish organisations and activities
- Within each category (criterion) the school will give priority to children in care of a local authority
- If pupils have an equal claim to a place, within each category the school gives priority to children baptised closest to their date of birth. In the case of category 14, the child who lives closest to the school will be the deciding factor
- The ages and numbers of siblings in the school will have no effect on deciding the admissions priorities
- The closing date for filled-in applications for children starting school in September 2008 is Friday 15 February 2008. Applications received by this date will receive priority
