Important notes
- Baptised Catholic children also include those children whose parents are preparing for their children's baptism into the Catholic faith, at the Holy Family Parish Church. Children whose parents are on a course for their children's baptism, into the Catholic Faith, at another parish will need to provide proof of this
- A practising Catholic is someone who goes to Mass every Sunday as well as on holy days of obligation, except when prevented by serious circumstances
- If governors have to make a decision within any category, they will give priority to children in the care of a local authority. They will then give priority to children who live nearest to the school. Distances from home to school will be measured in a straight line
