The local authority will only consider 1 application per child for the same school in the same school year unless there has been a relevant and major change in your families circumstances that mean the Appeal Panel should consider another appeal from you.
Examples of changes in circumstances include if you move into the neighbourhood area that the local authority gives priority to when offering places at the school you prefer, or if a member of your family develops a medical condition since your original appeal was heard, and you feel this is relevant.
If you feel there has been a change in your families circumstances, please write to the Admissions and Attendance Team and provide the evidence. If the local authority reaches a fresh decision on your application, you will be able to appeal again if it refuses your application.
Your child should be going to a school while you are appealing for a place at your preferred school in case your appeal is not successful.
