The meeting/reception area, with its large glass domed ceiling, has plenty of room for congregation and is an ideal area for having a break from the computers. This large spacious area can accommodate 40+ people and is often used as 'break' area for groups holding events at the City Learning Centre Green Lane.
Room 2 has 23 computers, a black and white and a colour printer, a scanner and large screen projection facilities for demonstrations, presentations, DVDs and videos. All machines run Microsoft Office Professional Version 2007 and run on a Community Connect 3 (CC3) network. There is enough room for up to 30 delegates in this room.
Room 3 has 24 computers, a black and white and a colour printer, a scanner and large screen projection facilities for demonstrations, presentations, DVDs and videos. All machines run Microsoft Office Professional Version 2007 and run on a Community Connect 3 (CC3) network. There is enough room for up to 30 delegates in this room.
The Green Lane centre is in the process of installing video conferencing and is able to offer advanced movie making and video editing facilities, blue screen technologies (equipment allowing users to perform in front of a blue background screen, upon which background images are superimposed via use of a PC) as well as a host of other cutting edge hardware and software.
Our centre at Green Lane is fully accessible for the disabled and we have allocated disabled bay parking spaces as well as no awkward steps or gangways to contend with when entering the building.
We are happy to rearrange our room styles where we can to suit the requirements of our disabled guests. We have a disabled toilet at both our Eastbrook and Green Lane centre.
We also have a Portable Induction Loop System which can be borrowed for sessions commencing at either of our centres. We require notice of any requirement for use of this portable system to enable us to ensure that the system is fully charged and ready for use for when hard of hearing guests arrive.
Please note: These prices are reviewed every April and may be subject to change.

If you require the use of the computers within the rooms you wish to hire and have specific hardware or software requirements, we require at least 3 weeks notice of your exact requirements and need to be in receipt of any hardware of software you may require 3 weeks before the date of your session so that we can fully test and make sure it is compatible and (if this is successful) install it on our network.
This is especially important if you plan to hold sessions which may require more than our standard offering of computers with internet access and MS Office programs.
Documents containing further information on our pricing structure and room layouts can be downloaded and printed for your reference. Please visit the Document Download Section.
